The second seminar of the project Roadshow in Alentejo was held at CCDR-Alentejo, in Évora, continuing the transfer of the Wetlands Contract methodology.
This session was dedicated to analysing the context and identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the selected pilot area – Carvalhal Wetlands. The analysis was conducted through a collaborative process involving all the participants in the event, resulting in the stabilisation of the reference framework and in a first approach on the challenges to be faced.
The meeting was very productive, paving the way for the next Roadshow seminar that will be focused on defining sustainability objectives and delineating an integrated medium/long-term strategic vision for the target wetland area.
